| 2024/25 Red Cedar Tournament Locations and Dates | |||||||||||
| 1. Within each division the league tournaments shall be split if there are more than 16 teams, provided that there are available gyms. | |||||||||||
| 2. The split will be based on records with the top half in tournament A and the bottom half in tournament B or C if needed and will | |||||||||||
| be seeded within the division after the separation. | |||||||||||
| 3. The division in case of odd teams shall be up to the director and all decisions shall be considered final. | |||||||||||
4. All results for the first weekend 2/22-23 are considered final on 2/9/2025 at 6:00pm. Any snow day changes occuring after 2/9 will not affect seeding. All results for the second weekend will be considered final 2/17 at 6:00pm. Any snow day schedule changes occuring after 2/17 will not affect seeding. All results for the weekend 2/15-16 7th/8th Boys Gold/Silver will be final 2/10 at 6:00pm. All results for the weekend 3/8 7th/8th Boys Bronze will be considered final 3/3 at 6:00pm. |

| 5. Please understand this is a general layout of the tournaments, locations can be subject to change based on the final standings | |||||||||||
| 6. If any tournament is cancelled due to COVID-19 mandates the tournament will not be scheduled at a later date | |||||||||||
7. Michigan Middle School Basketball Championship: Teams qualifying for the tournament shall be as such: Each Gold and Silver individual division 1st and 2nd place team. In divisions of 10 teams or larger. 1st, 2nd and 3rd will qualify. Also, the league tournament (A) champion will be invited if not included in the division qualifying. Fees and other expenses will be the responsibility of the team or community.

Red Cedar Tiebreaker Rules
Tie Breakers Gold Divisions: Tiebreakers will be used in case of a tie. These tiebreakers will be used only for determining seeds and/or placement in the league tournaments. This can be used in any division or geographical division. This should be communicated between coordinators and coaches. The tiebreakers shall be as follows:
Tiebreaker #1: Winning percentage
Tiebreaker #2: Head to Head record with tied teams
Tiebreaker #3: Head to Head point differential with tied teams
Tiebreaker #4: Overall record vs common opponents
Tiebreaker #5: Overall point differential vs common opponents
Tiebreaker #6: Coin toss
